my room is a mess

so. post may-term, and technically post-college blogging. fun stuff. though i technically moved down here last wednesday, memorial day was the first day i really lived here in nashville at my sister's house. on thursday, emily came and the next day we went up to a wedding in Chi-town. on sunday we drove all the way back to nashville from the city of wind. there was an awful lot of driving. but it was a good time.

i finished dylan's memoirs, and read The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, which is the second in the five part Hitchiker's Guide trilogy. other than reading i have been familiarizing myself with the city, going to bookstores to buy more books to read, sitting on my arse playing video games, and sitting on my arse watching tv. i haven't had a constant stream of tv in my life for two years, so it's almost as if i'm rediscovering it. and most of it sucks. not a big surprise i guess.

i forgot to mention that i also squeeze into my very tight schedule the idea of applying for a job. emily told me tonight that i should enjoy being a bum, at least for a week. so i think i'll try that out. i have also decided that this summer, i will read the hitchiker's guide trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter books. (i would have put "and the" before Harry Potter, but my browser wouldn't let me take the italics away. weird.). anywho.

i return now to my messy room.
